MIDNIGHT MOUNTAIN Life Skills Training Center

We are interested in assisting young people who have the desire to learn and grow. Although prior outdoor experience is not necessary, a willingness to participate fully in our outdoor adventures and to accept the challenge of living simply are necessary.

Midnight Mountain programs are designed to meet the needs of young people who answer "yes" to one or more of the following statements:

I desire independence, but lack the skills and self-confidence to make it happen.
I wish to break away from the negative influences which have held me back from reaching my full potential (re. drugs/relationships/activities).
Through my dishonesty and manipulation, I have damaged relationships with my family, friends or other instrumental people in my life.
I frequently do not finish what I begin.
I think that I know what I want, but I don't seem to gather the motivation to follow through with my plans.
I sometimes have difficulty learning in a traditional classroom and do best with a "hands on" approach.
I sometimes feel lost in the "shuffle" and would benefit from a small community setting.
I have in the past had a hard time controlling my temper.
